Just like that, November is half over. And that means that we are that much closer to coming home for a very extended vacation. But the day was pretty lackluster. It wasn't quite dark when I went to work this morning, but that will change again in a hurry. I went into work and started the day like most others, except I was able to turn people away who needed blood work done. Pacific Coastal has either chosen to not transport dangerous goods or had their license revoked which means that we are unable to send out our specimens that we can't run here, to Vancouver. This has been going on for about a week and has been a great big pain, even though it lessens my workload. I have still been kept busy doing other things as well as studying.
Soon enough I ran out the clock on my slow studying day. I came home to join Sonja. We have been trying to tidy up the place a bit and organize what we don't need out here anymore. So we decided to tackle our cat food closet today. This is also where we keep our bags and garbage bags and toques and odd stuff. So we quickly emptied it out. It turns out that we have a surplus of reusable grocery bags here and they were starting overfill the closet.
After we did that I made some macaroni and cheese for supper. It was really good, and I filled up on it. The rest of the day has been spent relaxing and watching a little bit of TV. I have also been reading my book, while Sonja had been cross-stitching.
