I think I just made a new world record for games lost playing solitare. I didn't win a single game and yet played for about 45 minutes. That's just silly.
My day started out too early and I'm paying the price for that now. I'm so tired and didn't do too much. I woke up and ate some breakfast while reading the news paper. I then went downstairs, watched some tv while riding on the bike, and took a shower. I came upstairs and started working on my cross stitch project for about an hour.
Then Amy and Madison came over. I had another doctors appointment that I needed a ride to and Amy is nice enough to actually take me. So, we ate some lunch together and eventually went to the appointment. And I am happy to say that everything with our baby is perfectly healthy. It's so nice to hear the doctor say that. The ultrasound results came back normal and we have nothing to worry about. It's so reassuring because I don't actually know what's going on with this little baby so to get news that it's growing exactly the way it's suppose to is really awesome. Plus, I got to hear it's little heartbeating again. What a magical moment that always is.
Once back home, Amy and I had more conversation before they had to take off back home again. I waited for mom to come home and we were off to Ikea shortly after she walked through the door. I love Ikea and I can see spending lots of money there when we have a place to furnish. And there is lots of cute baby stuff there.
We visited my Mormor for a while, enjoying tea, cinnimon buns and of course, the company. We were planning on stopping by Michaels for some thread but I lost the list I had made, so that trip would have been pointless.
On our way home, I saw a sign for a garage sale so I'll probably stop by there tomorrow as I have nothing planned. No guests are coming over and I really have nothing to do. I hope to find books and possibly some baby toys. We will see what happens. Garage sales are always so sketchy, as people are just trying to get rid of their junk most of the time.
I enjoyed my day and now I must go find something to eat. We had hot dogs at Ikea and I was surprised to find that the price has been increased since I was there last. Now, hot dogs are 75 cents. I know that's still cheap but come on.
Happy mini Friday.
