Well, today something happened that hasn't happened to me in a long time. I woke up when Tyler's alarm went off and he got out of bed. I continued to lay there, hoping to get back to sleep. But I just stayed awake and eventually got out of bed at 7:15am. The strange part about it was I wasn't even tired. I was awake and I stayed awake. I figured I could take a nap in the afternoon if I needed to. It turns out, waking up early has many advantages, like you get so much more time in a day to do everything. Once Tyler went to work, I ate some breakfast and went for a walk at 9. It was a very nice morning, with the sun shining and everything. I walked up the big hill and saw many cute pets along the way, 4 dogs and 5 kittens to be exact. It's kind of what I look for on walks. It makes the boring same old town a little more exciting.
Once I got home, I did the dishes. And then it was 10:45, the time I usually get out of bed. And I had nothing left to do. It's strange to be done everything that early. I watched a bit of tv and surfed the internet.
Soon Tyler was home and gone again. I had the afternoon to cross stitch and enjoy the beautiful weather. It was so nice today. Actually, it was really hot outside but I'm not complaining. I had all the windows open which Kitten loved so much. She has been coneless for 2 days now and she is doing pretty good. She has a wound on her face but it's not as bad as it could be. She's doing pretty good and she's acting like a real kitty.
Tyler came home from work early and we went for another short walk to the store. Tyler had a few items he wanted to celebrate the weekend with. He bought some pop as a treat for being on call for what seems like forever. Poor guy. I feel sad for him but the doctors said they would try to take it easy on him tonight.
Our evening is being spent doing what we always do. I'll end up cross stitching and Tyler is enjoying his nightly addiction to popcorn. Kitten is on the back of the couch being stuck up but super cute.
Enjoy the weekend!
