Well we didn't get a blog up yesterday.  It was a pretty uneventful day for most of it.  At seven we were invited out for a birthday party.  Unfortunately it was a quick time for me, for as soon as I had food on my plate the work phone went off.  I went out and it took longer than expected.  I ended up having to help restrain the guy I was called in for.  So that was pretty exhausting having to hold this guy down.  But eventually the doc and nurses were done everything that they needed to have done with my help.  I got the blood work done and an hour later, rejoined the party.

We didn't stay too long after that.  We came home and watched a couple of episodes of The Office with our friend Jessica.  After she left we decided that we would continue celebrating the long weekend by watching a movie.  So we watched X-Men: First Class.  It was kind of a bad idea as we didn't go to bed until 2.

I was awoken by the call phone going off at 9 o'clock.  It was more blood work for mr retrained guy.  It was much easier this time around and I was back home just after 9:30.  But I was still to awake to go back to sleep even though I wanted to.

So I did a test online for my studying portion of the day.  It took no time and I then was free for the day.  I surfed the internet and did some perusing of things for Christmas.  I found what I want to get Sonja, but couldn't find anywhere that sells it, so now I am back to square one.

Sonja got up sometime between 11:30 and noon.  I made some more burgers that were left over from yesterdays delicious endeavor.  Unfortunately this made Sonja feel bad for the rest of the day.  So she spent an hour doubled over and feeling terrible.  She went for a nap to sleep it off and feel better.  She slept for probably another 2 hours.  In this time I went to the store and did the shopping.  I had to much stuff on the list for only one of me to haul.  It was getting pretty heavy by the time I got back to the house.

Sonja got out of bed again and this time had some granola for a first meal instead of a burger.  I did the dishes, while Sonja continued to relax and recoup.

Around 5:30 we got a call from Jan inviting us over for her birthday.  So we went over right away and had supper there and hung out with her family for a bit.  We walked home and it was a bit cool.  We were pretty cold by the time we got back home and are just relaxing for the rest of the night.
