I was able to sleep in this morning, but it wasn't a restful sleep.  I was awake every half hour after 7:30.  Its not anywhere near as good as when I sleep solidly until its time to get up.  I finally gave up sleeping at quarter to ten and went off to work.  It was a pretty quick call-back and as I was home by 10:30.  After I got home I made some breakfast for myself as Sonja got her granola ready.  I made some sausage mcmuffins again because they are just too good not to make them.  After our breakfast we cleaned the house a bit.  I took out the garbage and recycling and Sonja started the dishes.  I helped her when I got back in.

We bought some tire chains just in case we need them through the mountains, and they came earlier in the week.  So I went out to practice putting them on so I will be able to do it if I need to in the snow and probably wind and dark.  They went on pretty simply, but we'll just hope that we don't need to use them.

After coming back in I did an assignment for one of my courses and Sonja was tending to the deck cats.  She had put a bunch of towels out there so it was time for them to be washed.  So she started to wash them.  My assignment didn't take very long to do and soon enough I was free for the day.

The storm finally let up sometime last night, so today was a nice, calm day.  The sun was even in and out from behind the clouds.  So after I was done my assignment, we went for a walk around town and ending up at the store to finish our shopping list.  We got around to the hall and saw that there was a ton of vehicles parked outside so we decided that we needed to investigate.  We went in and found that there was a craft sale and flea market going on inside.  There were a few cool things there, but we never have cash so we left and continued to the store.  It seems that everyone in town knows that we are having a baby, as we were stopped many times with people asking whens the baby due and everything.

We came home and it was almost time for the grey cup to start.  So we sat down and settled in to watch a football game we don't really care about.  I cut up some sausage and cheese and we had a mini grey cup party/heart making party.  We acquired a ruler so we were actually able to make hearts this weekend.  We both made one heart.  It is pretty tough because it is so dark in our house, but we got them done.  They turned out good.  We will probably make a couple more in the next couple weeks.

Just getting ready to go up to Kendra's for some cards.  We will be coming home early though as our favorite show is on out here tonight.  Oil Change is on at 9 on Sportsnet.
