Are you ready for the weekend??

Ahh, a big sigh of relief as we enter the weekend. It was quite the week. Not because it was stressful or anything like that. But because for the first time since starting there, I have been busy. I was actually busy all week. It's been pretty nice. I usually start the day by making a "to do" list. The goal is to get the list done by the end of each day (I'm sure you know the point of a list like that.) This past week, the list has been relatively long with lots of people to call and paper to scan. It's been so productive this week. It feels good to be of use for once.

Any way, today actually started alright. Not too tired but still wanting to sleep. We got up and went to work. I got right to my list and finished it right away. I also had the task of printing and photocopying a patient's chart. It took a good part of my morning. To sum up, I finished up my work at about 3 in the afternoon. Even before then, I started shredding old lab results and other medical documents that get to be shred at every 3 months. That task didn't need to be done, but I started it because I had nothing else to do.

I always wonder why older people think younger people know how to fix every computer problem. Let me explain: The past few days, the doctors computers have been turning themselves off and no one knows why. Every one looks at me to fix it, only I know nothing about computers. My co-workers basically demand that I help the doctors out with their computer issues. It makes no sense because I have stated many times that I am computer illiterate. I don't get it. And it bugs me. I would help, but I have no idea what to do.

I wont complain to much more, although there is much to talk about.

I got to go home early because I am awesome at my job and got my work done by 3:30. I shredded some more paper for half an hour and got home in time for the NHL draft. It was exciting. We are both excited for the Oilers season next year.

As we were watching that, I started making a din din of French Toast. I had to get a towel from the closet, where kitten loves to hang out. I left the door open and she just chilled in there. We ate dinner and decided to go for a walk. We had heard that there was a big black bear at the dump so Ty convinced me to go check it out. Once we got there, we heard a big noise coming from inside. I stayed back because I didn't want to run into any thing. Tyler went up close to the walls and then there was the noise. A big rustle in the bushes made my heart beat fast. Tyler said it was just a bunch of birds flying threw the trees. Then we walked home. After we got home, we both were wondering where Kitten had ended up. We checked all her local hang out spots, like on our bed, on her couch, in the closet in our room, in the box in her room. Finally, as I opened up the closet door, Kitten made a cute noise and walked out. Tyler confessed to shutting it on her, claiming he didn't know she was in there. I only kind of believe that. I made him say sorry to her.

And now we sit here. After a busy day at work, we plan on relaxing. We are getting the movie "The book of Eli" and I don't know what I think about that movie. The previews didn't super impress me. I guess it's better then doing nothing. I am getting tired so it's nice to just relax.

The weather wasn't all that great today. No rain but cloudy and unhappy. The whole weekend is supposed to be like this. If it's actually nice out, we plan on hiking up to the top of the mountain to survey the scene. I hope it clears up. It would be great to go for a hike.

Kitten is being cute, as usual. Sleeping on the back of the couch right by Tyler's head.

Enjoy your weekend!!
