Today I woke up mostly refreshed.  It was a better morning.  We put our old sheets on the bed last night because they are better than the ones the hospital bought for the new bed.  The hospital ones seemed like a fabricy plastic and just slippery.  I'd always wake up with them slid off on the floor and I was cold.  So last night was a better sleep because the only way the sheets move is when Sonja steals them on me.  I got out of bed and was watching TV, waiting to go to work when I heard something outside.  At first I thought I was crazy, but then I heard it again, pffffffft.  The sound of a whale breathing.  So I jumped off the couch and went to the window to see where he was.  I waited, and waited for him to come up again, and to make sure it actually was a whale.  Sure enough he came up again.  So I grabbed the camera and went out onto the deck to wait for him again.  When I first saw him he was pretty close to the shore, and the tide was out. I think he was scratching his belly on the sea floor.  He came up again one more time before I had to go to work.  I managed to get a few pictures of him on his last view.

I went to work and it was a much slower day today than it was yesterday, which was nice.  The day went by at an average pace and soon it was time for lunch.  I was able to come home a bit early and surprised Sonja for lunch.  It was nice and relaxing.

I went back to finish off the day.  Again it was busy enough to keep myself busy, but slow enough that I wasn't running around all day like I was yesterday.  Soon enough, 5 o'clock struck and I came home.  There was an Oiler game on tonight that we were going to try to watch online.  It kinda worked for most of the game, but by the 3rd period the rest of the town was also going online, so it slowed down and pretty much quit working.  The Oilers lost in the shoot out, making it 17 straight losses in Minnesota.

Nothing on plan for the rest of the night except to relax and wait for sleep to overtake us.
