Sunday's best

It's been a pretty decent day.  I didn't get to sleep in but that's okay.  That allowed the day to last for a long time.

Tyler followed me closely out of bed and soon the day was under way.  I have been watching a mini-series called Pillars of the Earth, which is based on a book I read a while ago.  I really enjoyed watching it and it makes me want to read it again.  I'm currently reading another one of his books but it's taking a very long time to read it.

After we finished up the series, we went for a walk up to the reservoir.  I wasn't really looking forward to that because it has been snowing all day and I don't have any good shoes that keep my feet dry.  But I sucked it up and we went out into the blizzard.  It was very slushy outside but it was really fun to get outside.  We walked up to the dam because Tyler wanted to see if there were any animal tracks.  He's crazy about animal tracks.  We saw some fresh deer tracks which made Tyler really excited.  It took us about an hour to get back into town.

We went to the Band Store to buy the rest of our groceries.  We were surprised to see that there wasn't much food out yet.  They usually have at least something out on Sunday but not today.  It was disappointing because now we have to make a third trip to hopefully get the rest of our food.

We spent most of the afternoon just sitting lounging around.  I have been working hard to get my cross-stitch project done.  It's so close to be done, I just want to move on to the next one.  All I have to finish on my current project is adding some grass so I hope to get that done either tonight or tomorrow morning.

We just came home from Kendra's place.  She just got a new computer so Tyler had to set everything up for her.  We also played a few games of Phase 10.  I was robbed of a win tonight.  I rocked each phase and was soon ready to win.  Tyler came from nowhere and won it.  What a turkey.

I'm hoping this week goes fast as I enjoy weekends a lot.  We are also super jealous of everyone who doesn't need to work tomorrow.  BC doesn't believe in Family Day.  What a bad place to live... I'm missing home right now.
