Lazy lazy lazy

Well, I'm a little embarrassed with how little we did today.  So little that I'm not even sure where to start.  But I promise to make every effort in

I didn't get to sleep in because we went to sleep super early.  That's actually pretty awesome because I wasn't tired when I woke up and that doesn't happen every day.  I got out of bed and walked into the kitchen.  Once again, I looked at our sink and was so sad.  There was another mountain of dishes and recycling to deal with and Tyler was no where in sight.  I got all ambitious and started taking out the recycling.  I was going to do the dishes but then Tyler came home and I got lazy.  I also had to make the dreaded grocery list.  I think it's a pretty awesome menu this week.  I"m looking forward to eating pretty much everything on the list.

Tyler and I went to the store to buy the food a little after he came home.  He was called into work around 10am, so we got all dressed up and headed out in the drizzle.  The store was eerily empty, like a ghost store.  It's not usually like that but it was nice not to have to wait in line to pay.  We came home, unpacked our food and made some lunch.  I had some fruit, yogurt and, along with Tyler, a chicken burger.  Not a real one like I like, but it was pretty good.

After lunch, we were cleaning out our fridge and got ready to throw our  game hen carcass out for the birds.  We saved it from last nights dinner hoping to get some good pictures of a glorious eagle picking it up.  At first we only had the seagulls and the ravins attention.  I threw out a bone with a little meat on it and a seagull picked it up.  Soon, it was being chased down by a gigantic eagle who didn't give up for about 5 minutes.  It was really cool to see.  I felt a little bad because I that poor little seagull must have felt so scared.  I know I would be if I was being chased through the air for a bone.  A little while later, another eagle was sailing past so Tyler told me to throw the hen.  I did right away and from nowhere, a huge eagle came and carried our dinner away.  It all happened so fast that no pictures could be taken.

After that excitement, I sat down to do some cross-stitching.  I love this one I'm doing.  It's pretty cool.  I'm working on a whale that Morfar had designed for me at Christmas time.  It's looking really good.  I'm hoping to get it down as soon as I can just to get it done so I can look at it in amazement.  It's that cool.

We spent the afternoon watching a show called Parks and Recreation.  It's pretty funny and it provided lots of laughs.

Our evening will be spent watching a movie and getting to bed early again.  I love weekends.
