9 Months together

So, if any one is counting, today is Tyler and my 9 month anniversary.  Pretty awesome.

Any way, it's monday today.  I was actually slightly looking forward to today because there was promise of work and learning for me.  Last week, it was decided that I finally get access to the police system that BC uses.  I thought it would come today.  It never did.  So my morning was amazingly boring.  I had 2 tapes to transcribe but they weren't loaded properly on to the computer, so they didn't actually play for me.  It's frustrating knowing that there is work for me to do and not being able to get it done.  I asked for help and soon one of the cops helped me out and fixed it.

And so my afternoon was spent typing.  I had a 45 minute tape to do, and it took over 2 hours to type out.  It made the day go by pretty fast, but I have to admit, I'm a little worried about getting carpal tunnel with all this typing.  It just kind of crosses my mind every once in a while.

After work finally ended I came home and worked out.  It's nice to move around after a full day of just sitting around.  I also was thawing out chicken for dinner.  We were going to have skillet chicken with gravy, only today I didn't make gravy or potatoes, but instead we had it with rice.  And most of the coating fell off in the pan.  I use to always make this when we first moved out here but kind of forgot about the recipe until Tyler requested it this week.  I finished my work out and got into the kitchen.  Tyler was late coming home from work so it was okay that I hadn't started din din yet.

He came home and started to wash the mountain of dishes that once again collected by our sink.  It always amazes us how quickly that seems to happen.  And then we leave it for a few days and every time I go into that kitchen, I curse and wish we had just done them.  We ate and finished the dishes.

Tyler started his MRI program today.  So after dinner, he started on his work and I started on my stitching.  He was having a bit of trouble but I know he will learn fast, because he is a smarty pants.

We are now actually relaxing for the first time this evening.  Tyler played a bit of Bond and I'm just typing this out.  I'm excited about this quilt I'm making.  I believe I'll be done it sooner then I thought.

That's about it from me.

Also, just a side note, we put our names in for the World Juniors for next year in Edmonton and we were informed tonight that we didn't get it.  Oh well, looks like we will be spending time with family instead.
