COOLEST THING EVER!!!

So, I think we can just bypass a whole explanation of how my day went because everyone knows exactly how it went. Instead, I will summarize so I can get to the good part of the day.

My day: Woke up early because of Kitty. Worked out my very sore body (but it some how felt good any way), sent some emails, cross-stitched, ate some food, and then Tyler came home.

I know, it might not be the greatest blog but Tyler and I saw the single coolest thing ever today. Tyler came home from work at 4 and he started on dinner. It was a recipe that he wanted to make, so he is responsible for putting it together, just kind of the rules. We were going to have salmon and rice. It turns out, the salmon needed to be marinated for an hour and a half We decided to go for a walk.

Tyler has wanted to go to the ferry forever and the weather finally cooperated. We walked down the shore because it was low tide. It was really rocky and it was a very long walk. We saw some pretty cool things. We walked all the way until the rocks wouldn't allow us to go further. Tyler then found a path, which we followed for a very long time. It was beautiful in there, surrounded by moss, huge trees, ferns. It was also really wet. It poured all day today and we live in a rain forest.

Any way, we came upon a really old grave site. It was pretty cool. There were people in there since 1883. It was crazy old and really cool. It was in the middle of the forest and most of the headstones were tipped over and really faded away.

We continued on our way, to actually get to the ferry, which was actually really close to where we were. And then, here is the cool part, we went down to a creek. There was a look out place right by this water fall type thing...and there were hundreds of salmon, trying to get up the river. It was so cool, seeing them trying to get up that waterfall. And these fish we GIANT!!! They were the biggest fish I have ever seen. We will put pictures up so you can all see how cool it was.

And then we walked home. We were both so tired and we hadn't eaten dinner at that point. We came home and had some food and are now relaxing. And its wonderful. It was a good walk.

Pictures to come soon.

Enjoy your long weekend!!!
Son
